“We were out for a drive through the Thumb and found this place almost by accident. Went in and looked around. Clean and inviting, but the buffet seemed a little 'small.' Turns out, Looks can be deceiving!! While not sporting dozens of selections, the focus is on quality rather than quantity. Every selection was very tasty. They even had Almond Chicken on the buffet, something not often seen. And the 'piece de resistance??'....EGG ROLLS DETROIT STYLE with Bean Sprouts!! Oh my gosh, to be delivered from the banality of cabbage egg rolls was simply divine!Everything seemed to be prepared in-house. So many Asian buffets use cookie cutter foods right out of the bag/can/box. Not the case, here. You can tell the difference.Also, we had a wonderful server, very attentive and gracious! If you find yourself close to Bad Axe, give China King a try. Then walk across the street to J&L Ice Cream for dessert!“
