Consistently great food. Their local whitefish dinners are outstanding. Very busy , go early or secure a reservation.
One of my favorite restaurants anywhere, not just on the island. We usually eat at the bar, and the bartenders are terrific. The whitefish, walleye, and ribeye are highlights. They do a fantastic job here, and it must be challenging, given the remote location.
We had another great evening at the Circle M. Charlie was in the bar and greeted us warmly, took our drink orders and delivered menus. He was happy, recommended great options, prepared great drinks and pours, and made the night fun. Our food was so tasty making the whole experience terrific.

The Circle M offers a delightful dining experience with its standout menu items. The beef tips with bleu cheese sauce and balsamic glaze over spring mix are a meal in themselves. The restaurant provides a cozy, converted house setting, creating a friendly atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The whitefish dish, served with crispy skin and tender flakes, is highly praised, and the pork medallions are considered excellent and reasonably priced. The menu also features gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The bar area offers good local beers and tasty Reisling, and the waitstaff are generally friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant getting busy at times. The bartender, Charlie, provides exceptional service, efficiently handling a full bar and food orders with politeness and professionalism. While some dishes received mixed reviews, the food is well-presented with good-sized portions. The restaurant's entrance can be confusing due to a lack of signs, but the staff's great service makes up for it. Overall, The Circle M is a great local spot for a relaxed meal and a memorable dining experience.
