First time visiting the Sunset Restaurant at Beaver Island Lodge. The food was fantastic. We started with the oysters and stuffed shrimp small plates. Both were delicious. For my entrée, I went with the white fish, which I really enjoyed. We were seated on the patio, which offered a stunning view. The waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. Overall dining experience was 5 stars. Definitely planning on dining there during my next visit to Beaver Island.
Went to this restaurant for our 40th anniversary. It came highly recommended as probably one of the best around for excellent food.With regard to the food... It was excellent. This is the spot for dining during sunset. We sat outdoors; not crowded. We were there mid-week in August. Service was good. We both had the mushroom bisque soup which was fantastic. Wife had whitefish with risotto and asparagus. Fish was good, not over seasoned. Risotto was fine, the asparagus is great. I had a ribeye, asparagus, and "dauphinoise" potatoes.
