I told them I wanted so fresh that they burned me. the guy laughed in the mic and made a stupid joke. when I got to the window he continued to laugh at me and told me everyone was laughing at me. when I got my fries they were not fresh. no oil was on the fries. they must of stuck them in the microwave. they tasted old as well.“

I recently had a delightful experience at Applebee's Grill + Bar in Benton Harbor, Michigan! This family-friendly restaurant has clearly stepped up its menu over the years. With great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place worth visiting.

The food: I sampled a few dishes, including the boneless wings, fish and chips, and a cheeseburger, and I was impressed! The bottomless fries were a fantastic addition—always hot and crispy. Each dish I tried was enjoyable.

The service truly stood out during my visit. Our server, Kandace, was attentive and cheerful, guiding us through the menu and ensuring our drinks were always filled. Her positive attitude made our meal even more enjoyable—thank you, Kandace!

As for the atmosphere, the restaurant was clean, well-designed, and spacious, which made for a comfortable dining experience. It definitely feels like a place that caters to families, and in a community like Benton Harbor, Applebee's really shines.

Overall, my visit to Applebee's Grill + Bar was a great experience! If you’re looking for a kid-friendly spot that’s also enjoyable for adults to grab a bite, catch a game, or simply relax, this restaurant is a fantastic choice.

“Went to The Rage for supper. I have to eat gluten free and this place did NOT disappoint. I had the fried fish. So incredibly good. Building is beautiful, Jen was a great waitress, and the prices are out of this world! Stop in, everyone. You will be glad you did!“

“Food is good but the burgers are small and it’s expensive to eat here. A double cheeseburger brown bag w/ large drink is like $18. The double burgers are similar in size to McDonald’s double cheeseburgers. Fried mushrooms are outstanding though.“

“I've updated this review so many times. I hope corporate sees this. My wife and I went to this location with a coupon. We weren't expecting much since this location has a 12 year history of underperforming. However, we were greeted pleasantly, the large cups were those old school ones you take home and washed back in the 90s, the burgers were warm and cheese was melted, AND they served Heinz Simply ketchup packets. I felt like I was in an alternate universe. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING AT THIS LOCATION. They are finally firing on all cylinders. We'll be back.“
