I don’t know if I have ever enjoyed a restaurant quite as much as I enjoy St. Ambrose. Their diverse selection of meads has astonished my taste buds and their food pairings encourage my spirit. As far as atmosphere, there is no better place for each member of the family. If you’re thinking about taking a trip out here, do it. I can promise that you won’t regret your time here.
What a nice little hidden gem! We had the wood fire pizza and fish basket. Both were so delicious. The pizza crust was perfectly done with a good chew and the sauce was really good! It’s so nice to find a place with goat cheese as a topping choice! The cod was great as well. The batter was nice and crisp. The sparkling rosé and northwoods sodas in a bottle were both yummy. Our server, Lilly, was great too! We will definitely be back!

Wait staff were very slow in first contact, maybe 20 minutes. After that, attentive without being too much.
Wonderful and creative selection of vegetarian pizzas and other dishes (not sure about vegan options).
