🚩HORRIBLE SERVICE! DON’T GO HERE! 🚩The girl that serviced us has a bad attitude! Very snooty for no reason. Had that “stank girl” attitude. Came in at 8pm to make an order. We were also told “no dine in” even though they close at 830pm. All the out door chairs were inside so we couldn’t eat outside either. Five minutes later they denied a family service “No dine in. New York Pizza Pie in Birmingham is a carryout-only location off Woodward Avenue serving classic NYC-style pizza. The pizza is phenomenal, the real deal, and gives surrounding joints a run for their money. Slices are as big as your head, featuring a thin, perfect crust that is crispy but still foldable, with great dough that holds strong. The flavor is incredible, with the right amount of cheese and sauce, using high-quality ingredients. The spicy crumbled sausage is a must, and the plain cheese is amazing. The cheese bread is also equally beautiful. It is reasonably priced, offering the most bang for your buck.
The service is amazing, on point, friendly, fast, super chill, and solid. The staff, including the owner, are lovely, amazingly kind, and provide fantastic customer service with good recommendations. The owner truly cares about his business and customer satisfaction. Since discovery, many have returned multiple times, highly recommending it for everyone to come try. It is a 10/10 experience that blows other local favorites out of the water.
