“Tomatoes APizza is routinely one of the highest rated pizza places in Metro Detroit. For the most part, they live up to the reputation.I ordered a large half cheese, half pepperoni. The ingredients are very good, with the sauce being the clear winner of the pizza. The sauce has a nice richness to it that is immediately present when you bite into it. The cheese and crust are also decent, but I'll admit that neither stood out overwhelmingly. If you are a pepperoni lover, the smaller pepperoni on the pizza is an absolute treat as it is reminiscent of what they use at Green LanternThe pizza was cooked perfectly. For all the people complaining the pizza is "burnt," I suggest you go research how a coal fired brick oven works. If the bottom having some black on it bothers you, go eat Little Caesars.The only negative I had from my experience is price point. It is fairly expensive for a large, as my bill was near 30 bucks. Yeah, you do get quite a bit, but I do think you can get some similar size pizzas (think Supinos) for a much lower price. If you're not prepared to drop a good amount of money, this might not be the experience for you.If you are a big pizza lover, this spot is definitely worth a try. Any pizza where all the base ingredients are solid gets high marks in my book. Just be prepared to pay a little extra than you'd expect.“
“I have eaten here a lot over the last few years. In 2021 I probably ate here at least 25 times. I used to really really love it and have it nearly every day, because it reminded me of NY style pizza more than anything else in Michigan.Then, at some point in the fall of 2021, I noticed a marked decline in the quality of the food and overall experience. For example, there were several instances where I had ordered for delivery (in advance, too, specifically for an event that we were hosting at our house) and the food arrived late and/or not hot and soggy. So, I honestly felt turned off by it and stopped ordering from here as often as I had in the past.Over the last year or two, I have noticed that their food is always awesome if you’re dining in, but is not consistently great quality if you’re ordering for takeout or delivery.Ultimately, I really felt uncertain about what to rate this place.From April 2021 to Sept 2021-5 stars.From Oct 2021 to March 2022-3 stars.From April 2022 to present-4 stars.There are great things about it for sure, but I have had too many disappointing experiences to give it anything more than 4 stars, unfortunately.Parking: Parking, particularly when picking up, is very very difficult. You obviously can’t stop at Maple, and the street it is situated on rarely if ever has a free spot. So you have to pray that your food is ready when you inevitably double park your car right outside.“
“The food is great and at a great price. The service can be busy at times, but it's very fast, too. One time, they took too long to get me my food for my lunch break, but they made up for it with an extra slice, which is more than fair, in my opinion.“

“From top to bottom, side to side, you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Mediterranean flare and so full of flavors. It’s hard not to fill up on the bread and apps alone, they are all incredible. Also appreciate that the menu is a placemat as well. No high chairs for the little ones as a heads up.“
“It's simply wow! This place reminds me of the many great pizza joints scattered throughout NYC, NY. While the prices are higher, so is the quality and in my book it's still a great ROI. Order if you're looking for high caliber ingredients and taste. It's in the same league as Crispelli, Sopino, and Bigalora. Give it a try. Our family has been back several times and they have not even been open that long.“
