If you get Eddie as a waiter you are blessed. He's extremely thoughtful and just wanted to say thank you! I came here with my cousin and I. I don't get out much Bc I take care of a senior w dementia and thank you so much for making a rare night out so pleasant. The food was great I had the filet and my cousin had the short rib. We moved to the bar after and had a super yummy basil cucumber gin drink. He even wrote the recipe of the drink for us! Just really nice ppl who work there...read full review

Eddie is an AMAZING waiter. The whole experience with him was great. He made sure we liked everything and checked on us every so often. A friendly waiter is always so amazing to have. It’s one less thing to have to worry about. I will be respectfully requesting Eddie every time I stop in. Great guy. Thanks Eddie!!!!

I used to love Vinotecca's Royal Oak location, and was so sad when it closed. I'm so glad Vinotecca has reopened in Birmingham! They have really well spaced outdoor seating (with heaters for when the weather is cooler), the staff is all masked, paper menus, and guests are required to mask up until seated. We were seated right at our reservation time (maybe even a few minutes before), and our waiter (Eddie) was super attentive, amazing, and fun. The food and wine were delicious....read full review
