Came here with a total of 18 people. Sat outside. They were very accomodating to our large group. We had many varied wines and a lot of appetizers. would recommend.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. It should be called Vinoshit not Vinotecca. It's a s*** show. Went to dinner with the family and all of the food was burnt. My filet mignon was not only burnt but also pink inside. The service was extremely slow and the staff was rude. This place was beyond disappointing. We were shown no hospitality. Thank you Vinotecca for a horrible experience. This isn't what I come to Birmingham for.

If you get Eddie as a waiter you are blessed. He's extremely thoughtful and just wanted to say thank you! I came here with my cousin and I. I don't get out much Bc I take care of a senior w dementia and thank you so much for making a rare night out so pleasant. The food was great I had the filet and my cousin had the short rib. We moved to the bar after and had a super yummy basil cucumber gin drink. He even wrote the recipe of the drink for us! Just really nice ppl who work there so please treat them well!

Eddie is an AMAZING waiter. The whole experience with him was great. He made sure we liked everything and checked on us every so often. A friendly waiter is always so amazing to have. It’s one less thing to have to worry about. I will be respectfully requesting Eddie every time I stop in. Great guy. Thanks Eddie!!!!

I used to love Vinotecca's Royal Oak location, and was so sad when it closed. I'm so glad Vinotecca has reopened in Birmingham! They have really well spaced outdoor seating (with heaters for when the weather is cooler), the staff is all masked, paper menus, and guests are required to mask up until seated. We were seated right at our reservation time (maybe even a few minutes before), and our waiter (Eddie) was super attentive, amazing, and fun. The food and wine were delicious. They also sent us a follow-up email the next day thanking us for coming in. All around, it was a great experience; we will be back for sure!

It's very unfair to rate a restaurant when your first visit was during the Coronavirus era. We never set foot inside, so have no idea what its real ambience is. We dined at one of the tables set on the street. The food was very, very good. Our waiter, Eddie, was very attentive. The pace was a bit slow to my liking, but that's merely an observation, not a critique! All things considered, with the world as crazy as it is right now, we had 90 minutes of leisure with pampered treatment and wonderful food.

We had a reservation, showed up on time and were seated right away. Sat for 20 minutes before someone came to our table and that was the theme of our dinner. Apps came, we had no silverware, plates or napkins. Wait staff nowhere to be found. Ordered a filet, when food came no steak knife, asked for one and waited, waited, waited. Ordered desert, no silverware. Should have hoarded my fork from dinner shame on me. Let the person bringing desert know that we had no silverware. Waited waited waited. Starred at my empty drink glass most of dinner.Specifically booked this restaurant cause it advertised live music. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We told them we came for the live jazz advertised and wanted sit near the music. They said we’ll give you the best seat for music. THERE WAS NO LIVE MUSIC!!!! Best seat was in the corner where the bar tender waited on us and said she had little experience waiting tables...Food was good and the place was amazing. Horrible service. Booked this place cause of the reviews. Heavily disappointed.

1/2 star ONLY !! Wednesday night, small group of six.… Had reservations for over two weeks ago.… gave us the wrong table, then had to move us.… Very poor service/very slow service.… Waited for a long time or just for our side orders.… And drinks.… A terrible wait for food which we were very, very disappointed in !! If I had a nickel for every time the waitress apologize to Us , I could retire by now !! And sadly, the manager was just sitting back in his office eating his dinner and on the phone.… However, our waitress did give us free drinks But !!! That was a wasted $150, and a very disappointed evening for a birthday

Waited for our drinks !! Finally!! We put in our food order.. waited! Waited ! And waited !!!!! Poorly cooked ! However some meals were delicious " but !!! The manager never came out of his office!! Waitress did adjust our bill .. however!!! This is a high end restaurant!!

Only came in for a mimosa while waiting for our table at another restaurant but an amazing server Eddie convinced us to stay instead. We had bottomless mimosas for $18. The scallop appetizer was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

I LOVE the meal, service fantastic! BUT sat outside and VERY disappointed with the noise level of Old Woodward on a Saturday night. Birmingham MUST do something about the noisy cars cruising the downtown area!! I will not dine in Birmingham outside on a Friday or Saturday night in The downtown area until the city steps up to the plate and closes off this area to car traffic on weekend evenings. How sad for a nice restaurant to lose business for this reason.

Overall, I enjoyed dinner at Vinotecca. We sat outside, which was great since it was such a nice day outside. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about their offerings. We ordered the Michigan baked brie as an app, the Kona Coffee Rubbed Filet, the Rotisserie Chicken, and a bottle of red. Everything was great, except the baked brie really didn't add to the meal (hence the 4 stars), but the potato gratin that came with the filet was exceptional. Overall, I'd definitely go back.
