“It's been a while since our last dine in experience as we've been carrying out for a while (they do a great job of grab-and-go). However for Mitch's birthday we decided to dine-in and couldn't have enjoyed a better experience. Mitch had his fave, chicken parmigiana with Angel hair pasta and I had Chicken Olivia - my favorite with artichokes. It was served with sweet pea risotto and roasted veggies. Yum! For dessert Mitch's birthday cannoli was delish. And we added their unique 20 layer cake- that we'll have leftover cake for the rest of the week - so big!! Next visit won't be so long!“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“

“Valentines day dinner! Was greeted with valet service when we pulled in. Taken straight to our table. Food, drinks and service was all great! There was a special valentines menu for tonight and we got branzino and filet for dinner both were fantastic! Dessert was even better! Only missed opportunity was our table wiggled but the server made an attempt to fix it. Would highly recommend this place!“

“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Nicole was our server, very attentive and fantastic providing recommendations on favored menu options. Shrimp scampi and filet bites for appetizers - Delicious! Dinner salads were even yummy, crisp, fresh vegetables and the dressing was so good! We all enjoyed different meals, eggplant parm, lemon dill salmon, chicken parm, and pasta pesto. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, ate too much, and recommend this restaurant AND server to anyone looking for a great place!“

“My wife and I used to go to the Sterling Heights Restaurant and loved it very much. Especially their pizza! We ran accross the Clarkston location about 3 years or so ago and have taken many family members and friends there. Unfortunately, they won't serve their larger family size pizza to inside diners. They only serve it to carry out clients. Several times, especially after we were given back our freedom, we were making plans to go to dinner with friends for pizza and I suggested going there. My wife reminded me they only serve personal pan pizza's. Unfortunately, they do not taste the same. So, we choose Pizza Mia in Grand Blanc when we wan't pizza. We do go to Boligna's when it isn't a pizza night. Unfortunate!“

“I would just like to start off by saying our server, Carter, was so charming and caring! He is fantastic at his job and sure knows how to elevate service! So much attention to detail and making sure my group was comfortable throughout our stay. The chicken alfredo is okay but nothing that stands out from another Italian restaurant. Although two of my group members loved the octopus! They couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was and ordered bread specifically to keep trying it. The environment was amazingly dark but still lit! Took my group of four 20 minutes to be sat on a Friday night.“

“Went to this restaurant with some neighbors last month. I used to go to Vince's Italian Rest on Springwell in Detroit and they closed and missed their food which included homemade pasta. Saw that they had homemade pasta so decided to try the lasagna. It tasted the same as the restaurant i missed and was delicious. Can't wait to go back. A little pricey but so well worth it!!!“

“Been coming here for years. Food is great. Always get the soup, salad, and breadsticks. Can’t go wrong with that. I have ONE complaint though. It is a waiter whose name is BUCK (I think). He’s got a southern accent (or sounds like it). This man has been there for years. He is rude & condescending. He said to me and my family when I asked him if my son could have a glass instead of a kid’s glass, Buck said “Last time I checked, it was all over the table.” First off, I had no idea what he was talking about. Wrong customer he’s talking about, not us. Second, you don’t talk to customers that way regardless. And then we came back a few months later, and we were stuck with Buck again. We asked him about something that used to be on the menu and if they still served it and he said “Never heard of it.” We have witnesses him giving the same treatment to other customers as well. How this man has stayed employed this long I’ll never understand.“

“This review is long overdue.. this is definitely one of mine and my husband’s favorite places to eat. The consistency of the food and service along with the continuity of the staff says so much. Last night I reluctantly tried the steak siciliano because I was raised with my grandma cooking this and I couldn’t imagine eating someone else’s.. let me tell you, it was phenomenal! By far, our favorite menu item and we’ve eaten everything here! Please keep up your standards of food and service here, you guys do it best! “We’ve used Crispellis catering twice now - back in 2022 and now 2023 - both times the food was delicious and the delivery was on time, the set up was very helpful. The food was piping hot and packaged well to travel. They make the process easy and seamless. I cannot recommend them enough.“

“Had a 9:15 reservation on Valentine's Day and was not able to get sat until 9:40ish and food took 45 minutes to get to us. This was all completely understandable telling by how busy they were. The entire staff was on top of everything and did an amazing job that night. Because of the long ticket times without even asking they discounted 50% of the bill because of the inconvenience. Will 100% be back what a lovely establishment.“

“My fiancée and I had a really lovely Valentine’s dinner at Romolo. The interior was cozy, especially with the soft lighting and local art along the interior. It was lively for the holiday, but not cramped.
We started with drinks and the Fritto Misto(not pictured) which was excellent. I had the Rigatoni Lucanica for my entree. The sauce and fennel sausage had a nice heat to them from the banana peppers. It was unique compared to most Italian pasta dishes. My fiancée had the Costolette D’Angnello, which was on a whole other level. The lamb was cooked perfectly at medium rare, very tender and not gamey in the least. The polenta and greens were savory, as well.
They had a special dessert for the evening, Spumoni gelato covered in dark chocolate and pistachio crumbs. The appetizer and entree portions were generous, but we couldn’t say no to such a tempting dessert. The service was warm and attentive from all staff. We’d love to come back and try the pizza next time. Thank you for such a memorable evening!“

“Had a random stop to this Coney during some volunteer work in the area and I was very happy to stop in. Food was great and would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some great coney that taste like that classic Top Detroit coney spots but out in Pontiac Michigan. Great service, great attitude, great food, even had to tip the waiter who helped because the attention and service was on point off top!!!!“
