Our incredible service prompted my review of Cafe Santé. We were lucky enough to have Robin, who really made our experience 5 stars. The attention, friendliness, and genuine care for us and our meal left a lasting impression and a smile. Thank you, Robin! I really enjoyed having her.Aside from the service, the food was great as well. I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and Fromage Frais. I've never had the beouf, but I enjoyed it. Some pieces of beef were fatty which isn't for me. I know others like these pieces though. Otherwise it was a rich, filling meal, good for a cold day to warm up with. The star of the dinner for me was the fromage frais which was this garlicky, olive oily, buttery, tangy baked cheese to scoop up with ciabatta. Wow! If this sounds enticing, I reckon you'd enjoy it.Also at the table was whitefish and french onion soup that I sampled. Excellent. All very rich, tasty stuff.

A great cafe by the lake. We went here from brunch and had a lovely experience.Food: I ordered the Vienna pancakes and they were quite nice and delicious! Along with it ordered the no-jito and it was delicious as well. The pancakes were light and had this lovely butter on top with the pistachio and that was super yum. The fruits though were quite tasteless and didn’t quite add any flavour. The only drawback was the pricing, quite expensive for the amount and quality of food which they can probably work on!Service: Was nice and quick too!Ambience: Super nice especially if you like sitting by the lake and enjoying your meal!

Glad we found this great location while we were staying at Boyne Mountain. Delicious food! The Fromage Frais app was out of this world and the Pappardelle Bolognese was also really good. Kids enjoyed their dinners as well. I wish I would have tried the wood fired pizza.

Brian is the man!! I'm a executive chef in Grand Rapids and I will say that the food isn't the best part of dinning out. The personal experience with the waiter is very important and Brian is top notch one of the best I have ever had! I will definitely be back as soon as I can!
