Last week my husband retired after 22 years of military service. His mother who lives in another state ordered an ice cream cake for him (they are one of his favorite desserts) for our small retirement celebration. She texted me when it was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick it up only to find out Brighton didn't have any cake under my name. I called her to find out what was happening, and it turned out she had ordered it from the wrong Dairy Queen. This is absolutely one of my favorite dairy queens! No they don't offer food at this location, they do have ice cream and they work really quickly to get it to you! The workers have always been kind, and if you walk out back you can take your kids to the Mill pond when they're done with their ice cream. I did it when I was a kid and I take my kids to do it as well!
