We loved this charming local establishment. Central Lake is a quiet little enclave nestled between Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay and we felt so welcomed by staff and local patrons alike, and the food was excellent (hint: be sure and pick up a "french toast" muffin to go when you're done eating). I enjoy the food at this restaurant and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the hours. I live 2 blocks away and would be a frequent visitor, but I work 8 to 5 and they're always closed by the time I get home.

I was disappointed for a moment because I saw that they had biscuits and gravy, but when I went inside I didn't see it on the menu I was given. Thankfully it was Sunday and that is the only day they make biscuits and gravy. Food was pretty good!
