“I would love to give this place five stars but when we got there a large group arrived just before us and everybody was more concerned about this large group than us the waitress did get our drink order rather quickly but I had to get her attention to place our food order and I had to flag her down and be like what's taking so long with our appetizers and I had to ask for a refill of my drink but the food was delicious and she apologized and comped only one of our appetizers the other thing was the chairs were so uncomfortable and I had to sit there so long I had to get out of my seat and stand up they were really tall bar stools and the place where you put your feet is so low that my legs dangled and I'm 5'9 but the food was DELICIOUS so that goes a long way in my book I understand things happen and our waitress did take off one of our appetizers so I hope next time when I come back it's a better experience“
“Joe's felt like my hometown dinner. Grandma brought the grand baby in to show her off. The ppl are laughing and caring on. Pool table in the back going on.. The taco salad I had was great and filling!! If and when I get back in that area again, I will stop.. I might have something a little stronger than a root beer.. as the waitress asked, " do you want me to put it in a glass or leave it in the bottle for you?." I left it in the bottle.. living dangerously.. cheers to the waitress!!!“
“I'm not a burger loving person. Never have been and thought I never would be... until a couple days ago, when I took my 9 year old to The Eaton Place in Charlotte to reward her for a job well done. The staff sent us through an adjoining door to the Eaton Pub & Grille, since they were closing.My kid was in the mood for a burger and was told by that staff member to try the Bacon Jam Burger "split, because it's definitely enough to feed the both of ya". When he said "it has bacon jam and garlic aioli," I was sold. I LOVE to try new things and push myself out of my comfort zone. HOLY MAN, my life was CHANGED by this burger. My kid even audibly gasped and said wide-eyed, "this is sooooooo good!!"It's a combination of sweet with smoky spice, and all the right flavors meshed together. I don't think I can EVER look at another burger the same.
