“My husband and I live just down the road and decided to check it out for the first time. I don't recommend going here and I will never go back. ordered a Michelob, then when the waitress came back I asked for another beer. 15 minutes later she came back to the table without a beer, so I asked again for a beer, 15 minutes go by again and no beer. It's a bar and you can't even get a beer. I decided to walk up to the other girl and let her know that I had asked twice and ask her if she would bring me a beer. That was a mistake, I wasn't rude at all, she instantly got an attitude with me and says "you didn't ask me, I just came in from outside, then turns and walks away. She did bring me a beer along with an attitude. I apologized (which I shouldn't have even had to do) I let her know I wasn't upset with her at all and the reason I had ask her was because I had already ask the other girl twice. Didn't matter she was still rude. I ordered the nachos and my husband ordered a burger. My chicken nachos were burnt, I didn't even eat a 1/4 of them, you could look at them and tell they were burnt. After I got the beer it wasn't 5 minutes later she asked if we wanted our bill. Yup, bring me the bill because as a General Manager of 20 years, I know you don't treat people like that, clearly felt I wasn't wanted there and the 3 big tables were a priority. If you go with a big group, you'll probably get good service cause its a bigger tip for them. Never again will I go here or recommend to anyone.“

It was my partners and i first time as adults and got incredibly good cocktails priced decently for their strongness and over all flavor (shortly temple- little strong, dirty expresso -perfect mix, tropical blue rum- can be on the strong side). The food was mind blowing and was perfectly seasoned accrost the bord with every bite of the lobster mac made me want one more bite even though I was full and had fantastic/friendly staff + wait time

“This is my daughter's and my favorite restaurant when we meet up in Lansing. We've never experienced anything less than delicious food. The staff is courteous and it's a busy but fun atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!“

“Ate outside, beautiful night. Jameson Highballs $6 good pour. $8.25 for a bare 1/4lb hot dog with onions, bun out of the bag. Condiments on the table. $3 fries were hot, larger cut. Not bad for downtown East Lansing. Had to pay for parking.“

“This is a great bar! You should go here. Cozy atmosphere inside, great view outside. Loud inside right by the band as expected but the cozy corners and patio make for good nooks for conversation. I was here with a small group at a busy time but we were able to find seating outside easily and even after we had to move inside. This would be a great place for a date night“

“I've been to the Green Door more times than I can count. For much of my 20s it was a weekly haunt for me and my family as we sang karaoke here. We stayed with them through host changes, even briefly hosting karaoke myself (note: do NOT hire me to run karaoke, I willingly accept being about the worst host the place ever had) and we stayed with them through the downturn in service that the pandemic and the subsequent kitchen closure caused.
Now that I live away from Lansing, I still try to visit the Green Door when I come into town.“

“Great hang out to meet people. If you enjoy playing darts or on a league, this pub has a separate room with many dart boards. They occasionally will have live music. The parking lot is fairly big, but on a busy day or night you might find yourself having to park elsewhere. There are security cameras outside that I'm aware of, so I feel safe parking in their lot.

Arcade machines and pinball throughout the multi-level venue. We tried the Vegan Green Curry Ramen and fried veggies. “Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!“
