“I can't even explain how good the French Dip was that I ate tonight, it was huge and very good. First time in this place.... My daughter and I will be back next weekend! Thank you very much for the food, and hope the kitchen enjoys the round I bought them!Parking: Just don't get stuck in the back of the parking lot, kind of messes with your mind! Just make a good parking decision and don't get blocked in!“
“My wife and I love Bridge Street Social. It has quickly become one of our go-to spots for great eats, brilliant cocktails and mocktails, and outstanding service. Everything we eat there is phenomenal, but our favorite is the Double Wagyu Smash Burger. It is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The bun is buttery, the meat is juicy and flavorful, and the fries are crispy! Go see Remy, you’ll be taken care of!“
“My wife and I just enjoyed our second 5 course food/beer pairing. It was awesome! The food, beer, and service is all on point. The Coffee and Cream Ale was my favorite.Only thing that could make this LGBC better would be a dog friendly patio. Still 5 stars, though. ?“
“Overall, it is a decent place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. The mixed drinks were good but a little pricey. The food portions were of good size and had good flavor. However, the Stromboli and grinder had way more dough than fillings. We had a pepperoni Stromboli and the rellis grinder. This place also has very bad acoustics, so if it's busy, then it makes it hard to have a conversation.“
“This Bob Evans, like multiple others I've experienced, has friendly staff, consistent food, and chilly air temp. Our server was pleasant, and the food was good. I did need to move tables because of the cold air blowing made me and my coffee cool down much to fast.“
“My family and I love this place so much! We LOVE the bone-in wings with the Sweet Glaze the most and the hot bag of donuts. I love the specialty drinks they bring in for all the seasons. Every time we go there we get the best service with the best servers! It is definitely our go to place for eating out.“
“This is a lovely place! Unique menu items, great flavors, nice portions and great service. Went to another restaurant but they had water main issues so they recommended the soup spoon cafe. I fell in love. Went back again to take my boyfriend out to breakfast and I knew he wouldn’t be disappointed. I was right! He love it as well. No doubt, it will become a regular spot from now on!“
“A very cute, locally owned company with delicious food at a great price. I found this place when my last job decided to grab takeout for lunch, and they happened to be one of the few places in town you can get a good mashed potato bowl. I've been going since, and I'm hooked on their fried pita wedges and parmesan ranch.Definitely one of the hidden gems of East Lansing!Vegetarian options: You can opt for no chicken on most of the menu. The potato bowls can come with corn, mushroom, and peppers! Some of their soups are also vegetarian.“
“The food was delicious! Our 4-top had the Cacio de Pepe, Scottish Salmon, Tenderloin Tips with Pasta and Vegan Burger and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. The service was perfect! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and an excellent wine steward! I look forward to returning!“
“We’ve been going to this Applebees for a while now and I’ve got nothing but good things to say. We have had Adam S. as our server for the past few times and have had an amazing time with him each time. Coming from a customer service background, I was shocked on how amazing he consistently does. He always has a positive attitude, ensures we’re good on drinks, checks in on us, and goes above and beyond. It feels that he’s an essential part of the team at this location and easily has the best attitude out of every team member we’ve interacted with. He’s very personable and we enjoy seeing him every time we visit. I highly recommend this Applebees location for its good food and GREAT service. We hope Adam receives his well-deserved praise and keeps it up!“
“Went with my wife for dinner and got there early for dinner I’d say around 5. There was only 2 other tables being used and we were sat in a tight 2 top right next to another couple, despite the restaurant being pretty wide open. Kinda weird but got over it and asked to move to another 2 top table and no problems there. Fried green tomatoes were delicious and served with a great chow chow and pimento cheese! My wife had the duck which was just ok, gamey and a bit over done for us. My scallops were fresh and came with a great sauce but were definitely over salted. The highlight for me was the smoke bird cocktail, a must have for mezcal fans! Service was a little slow considering it was again, pretty quiet. This is all pretty nit picky but after 2 drinks a piece, an appetizer and 2 entrees if I’m paying over $180 I don’t wanna have any issues like I mentioned above.“
“OMG...This place brings you back to when the world used to be normal, people were happy, families connected over going out to eat, and things were affordable. An old old-school pull-up, order, car-hop type place. Comparable to Olympic Broil, but a little better. If Nip 'n Sip was smart they would play up on their uniqueness, rather than changing to become more like the garbage of the 2020s. Granted, the prices are trending higher, but still a great deal. The food is beyond DELICIOUS, portions are great. I've tried the olive burger, chili burger, chili cheese-o fries, fried mushrooms, and the Hammy Sammy. All are perfect, good portions, delicious as hizhell, just AWESOME!!! Love this place, I would eat here every day if I could (it would be an olive burger and something else)!“
“The only thing better than the bar staff, and the atmosphere is the food. The Pho was better than two Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to, and the sushi was on point. All in all 10 of 10, would recommend.Dietary restrictions: Soy, peanut, milk, corn, and gluten dietary restrictions: was able to eat with little modifications.“
“Always the best wait staff and the food is wonderful. Brunch every Sunday with chicken and waffles, French toast among other dishes. I go often for their appetizers especially potato skins and bread sticks. Hamburgers and fried fish are great. It’s like going back in time to your favorite local bar!“
“Love this place, and the food is always great. Unfortunately tonight our waitress was very slow and when we got there asked for our drink order, she got my wife’s drink but then went and got 8 waters for two different tables then stood behind the bar chatting with another server for at least five minutes. Then finally brought me my beer. So understanding she was busy/slow at getting drinks I ordered appropriately. Our friends were leaving asked for their check we told her we were staying but brought us ours too. We paid it but told her we wanted two more waited 15-20 minutes she never came back so we left.“
“Small diner but oh so good! Great menu, plenty of vegetarian options, food was delicious! My first time there, was in Lansing for a visit and just stopped in for lunch! I think they are only open until 3 pm so go early. Did not get a picture but the Bonuts, yes with a B, were AMAZING! Definitely recommended!“
“I have lived in the area for several years, and drive past Dagwoods almost daily but had never tried it until yesterday. Wonderful food at a great price with great staff. I am personally not much of a sports fan so I didn't get anything out of having the games on, but I know that the main crowd is people watching various athletic events. Not my scene, but if you expect to go into a sports bar on a friday night and not have a game on, you are going to the wrong place! Food was great. We ordered the quintessential bar meal: a burger and fries, which was just spectacular. Two people getting a delicious meal for $18 bucks is unheard of in this city, but it happened here! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.“
“I ordered the chicken tender family meal with red beans and rice and French fries. The food was good although the red beans and rice were salty. I usually don't have any issues with heavy seasoning, but this was just too salty to eat. But overall good for the price.“
“My server was Kevin. He was so attentive, and so kind. He genuinely was one of the best servers I have ever had there. The manager Andrea was phenomenal. My steak was over cooked but knowing how hard the cooks were working, I was not going to say anything. She noticed before even talking to me. She fixed it immediately and it was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. After bringing my steak back to me, she said “thank you for letting me fix this.” You can tell she is an amazing manager off that statement alone. They even line danced during dinner and it was amazing. My experience here was 11/10. Thank you Kevin and Andrea. I hope you both are compensated handsomely for being wonderful employees. You are the light of the establishment ♥️“
“The Ave is a Lansing staple, hosting some of the best food in the city and an awesome environment. You can have many different kinds of night at the Ave. You can go there for a nice dinner, you can go there for a drink and a show, or you can go there and get absolutely ripped. All are 5 star experiences, and the people complaining about service at a punk bar like it's an Olive Garden are lame as hell.“
“We are from out of town and here for a tournament and needed a place that would hold about 20 people. They said they had a back room so we went. When we pulled up my heart sank a little. The place is not at all what we expected. I felt like it was moldy smelling when we walked in but someone we were with said it was probably the smell of the beer making process so i can't confirm or deny that information. Most of the teens did not love their pizza but the adults thought it was fine. The paninis were decent and the spinach artichoke dip was good. If we ever came back to this area i would basically just come for their house made beers and ciders. They were excellent. The mixed berry cider was not sweet at all and I really enjoyed it. Their homemade soda was great too. My kids mixed the cream soda and orange to make a creamsicle. That was delicious. Service was good and they checked up on us even though you order from a counter so that was nice.“
“After visiting for the first time a few weeks ago, I'm craving the chicken and waffles all the time...and the yams too! I didn't get to try the peach cobbler, but its next on my list. This is an OG Soul Food joint that can't be missed.“
“Service is always excellent, staff members are kind and attentive to dining needs. Joe is amazing and one of the best servers on staff. I tried the strawberry shortcake which was made by Peter. Amazing dish. The strawberry compote was fresh and the raspberry chocolate ganache was a perfect balance between sweet and tart and the entire dessert incorporated different textures of crunch and gooey. I would recommend to anyone and thank the staff for placing it on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options and chefs are cognizant of dietary restrictions and allergens.“
“This is my girlfriend's and my favorite place to go. Everything about it is comfortable and tasty. Highly highly recommend for any age range.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a wheelchair user and it is super roomy to move my powerchair around without feeling like I'm bumping into customers or waitstaff. Lots of tables to pick from. Wish more places were like this“
“I went here with a group of maybe 12 and they were great at accommodating a group of our size. The food was what you'd expect from a breakfast diner: a variety of savory egg based options and then the sweeter side with pancakes/waffles, french toast, etc. I shared two dishes with my partner: the Greek omelette and the stuffed cakes. We got the larger order of the cakes (3), and I was happy to have only half of the stuffed cakes because they are more like dessert for breakfast (oh so good with whipped cream and all). That said, it would have been a bit much for me even after I had been on a 5 day bike ride. The omelette was great and the coffee refills kept flowing consistently.Would definitely go back!“
“New place in town and it has a great ambience utilizing the old train carriage. The food was good but really depends on what you were ordering. My wife's breakfast taco was exceptional while my sandwich was mediocre at best. It was really busy when we went and that could be a reason. The drinks were good but wish that they had more beers available. Will try again in a few months to see if things have changed/improved. Would still recommend as the staff is really friendly and caring.“
“Nice quick diner spot with excellent corned beef hash and decent bottomless coffee. Eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and it was all pretty tasty. The shredded cheese was cold and not melted which was a bit unappealing. Presentation overall could have been better too but the food was good.“
“This was my first time at Olga’s and certainly won’t be my last. The food was amazing and service was exceptional. My server Corinthia was super friendly and help me navigate the menu. She made my experience amazing and I cannot wait to come back.Parking: Na“
“As much as East Lansing has changed in the last 20 years, this place hasn’t and I love it. I almost got lost going because I didn’t recognize my old neighborhood but felt a return to home when I walked in. Buckets of beer, the MSU fight song sang after a Spartan win, and some after dinner karaoke to finish out a great reunion with some classmates. Get the tater tots!!“
“The Longhorn Steakhouse on West Saginaw in Lansing has wonderful staff. I accidentally left my credit card underneath the receipt and didn't realize it until 4 days later. They were holding it for me. I truly appreciate them doing that. Honesty and integrity is a wonderful thing. Thank you!!!“
“Bangos has been one of our favorite food trucks in the Lansing area for so long. We made sure to stop by The Brew Cafe every time they were there. When we heard they were looking to sell, we got really nervous that we might not be able to eat their food again, but are so happy that they are now inside Strange Matter Coffee! Now that the kitchen is open and running downtown, we had to run and grab some of those Nasty AF potatoes! Easily the best thing on the menu and maybe even our favorite food item of all time.“
“Awesome placeChicken strips are ridiculous. The service is quick even though the lines are long.LOL. Because they taste so good. I love the humdinger. You can say i'm a hum dinger slinger. I am a small youtuber influencer And this place is old but top-notch.I've been eating their ?+FRIES since the 80s. HAIL THE KING ? OB . MBA ACRONYM MILT BUILT APPROVED. “Don’t waste your money in Greektown; stay local and enjoy the best Greek (and American) food in central Michigan. Excellent seafood, egg lemon soup, pastichio and breakfast entrees—- Chef Grigoris is a master. The service is absolutely top notch; love this place!“
“Just had the best experience ever in the private event room for my daughter’s Sweet 16. The FieldHouse team took great care of us! I highly recommend hosting your next party/private event here. Such a good space in the heart of downtown EL!“
“After trying two other bars we dropped in here to see what the music and people were like. We found our place! Awesome band, little older crowd which is exactly what we wanted (no skanks half naked walking around) TONS of dancing and drinks were flowing. Crowd was perfect for us and I'm just sad that I don't live anywhere near there because this would be "my place"!! Next time we are in the area, The Green Door is my nighttime stop!!!☑️?“

“I grew up in Lansing I live in Florida now every time I come home to visit I gotta get me some Sparty’s Coney Island. What’s my favorite well the chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries would be my favorite. The olive burger is fire as well I mean you really can’t go wrong I mean Really everything they make is fantastic you can go to any other Coney Island in the country and it doesn’t get better than Spartys trust me.“
“It’s a tiny spot but very yummy and NOT corporate, so go in for the lunch special. Super friendly staff and an amazing drink station featuring two pics of the rapper Ice Cube on the ice maker, which makes it the best ice maker in town obviously.“
“We had a reservation tonight that we showed up almost an hour early for & with twice as many people & we have never felt SO welcome. The drinks were fantastic, the food was top notch, & the service was *chef's kiss*. 10,000,000/10 would recommend!“
“Finger Lickin' Chicken on point & they deliverVegetarian options: Salad ?FriesH2oDietary restrictions: one chef always prepares my fries in the fish only fryer because I do not eat pork. Ok I appreciate that!!Parking: Large parking lot on both sides of the store. Restaurant is inside the party store ?!!Kid-friendliness: Kids love the chicken fingers & friesWheelchair accessibility: First floor, enter directly from sidewalk, no stairs“
“The food was amazing but the fries needed more seasoning. The service was amazing! My server was so nice and sweet! The atmosphere was nice and kinda playful. The bathrooms were a bit nasty and there were a couple of baby flies all around our food after they gave us are food. Had to kill one with my hand (of course I washed my hands.)“
“Service was amazing they made me the best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time I asked if they could make me a homemade one and it was so wonderful. The only thing I have to say that wasn’t great was the food I ordered (the mushroom pasta) made me really sick. Maybe the cream in it went bad which can happen. Other than that everything was amazing and we loved the server and I really enjoyed my drink.(:“
“Absolutely amazing! Their burgers are so amazing! Myself and the 2 others I brought with me came from out of town to eat here. Absolutely can't say enough great things. The waitress was absolutely amazing and on top of everything!! Definitely will make the hour plus drive again. 10/10 ???“
“This is what I would call a dive bar. It is a fun place to go. They have karaoke on Friday (I think) and it's a nice party atmosphere. People are close knit but friendly to outsiders. Pub food and good beer. Great burgers. I recommend it.“
“There were a lot of people there on a Friday night! There was one person waiting on tables and working the bar. She did a great job, for the amount of people she was taking care of tonight. I had the Chicken Cordon Blue. The others, in our party, had huge burgers. No complaints, just enjoyed the deliciousness!“
