“We've been to Zynda's several times, now, and the food is consistently delicious. The service and atmosphere are great. Photos are of the Salmon and Creole Pasta. The things medallions and devilled eggs are real treats (appetizers). It's a gem and you should give them a try and find your new favorite spot.“

“Visited for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Nice, but small pub. There was only one server, so the service was a little slow. The food was great though. My grilled chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. The kettle chips are awesome. The floors in the place could use some work, and the woman's bathroom had some issues. I still would return if in the area again.Parking: Parking on street in front or large parking lot in back. They have a back door so you don't have to walk around to the front door.“

“First time visiting Tavern 109 in Williamston. We ordered the polenta bars, a Krak n Bleu burger, and a Cherry burger. All of the food was delicious and cooked perfectly! Our server was not particularly friendly, but everyone has a bad day, so I am still rating our experience as 5 stars. We will come back for the food for sure ??“
“Such an adorable and bright space! Highly recommend getting "in line" online to avoid lengthy wait times but they seem to turn over tables pretty quickly. We opted for this place due to their reputation of having gluten free options. We were not disappointed as the GF offerings were extensive! I selected the GF pancake combo (not pictured as I inhaled the food prior to remembering) and the pancakes were huge, fluffy yet dense, with the perfect crispy edges! The combo came with two eggs and two meats, then we added a side of American fries to split. The American fries could have used a bit more seasoning so I added hot sauce and they were fine. Will definitely be back to try more of their gf breakfast menu and am looking forward to it!“
“We came back into town too late in the evening for our original dinner plans. We decided on trying Charlie’s before heading home. The waitstaff was fantastic and friendly, but I cannot stress enough how great Susan was! My hubby and I both got chicken tender baskets and the chicken was delicious. They hand bread it before frying it, and it definitely sets them apart from other places that just sell frozen chicken. The ranch was also good, it tasted homemade, which is the best in my opinion. We definitely plan on coming back to try some of their other food items.“

Met the Manager who toldMe they close at 9:00 but they would stay open for us to order food. We were able to have a few drinks, appetizers and sandwich which everyone agreed were excellent. “For what it is: A Bar/Grill/Saloon, It was outstanding. Food was very good, service prompt and friendly. For example...salads are made with mixed greens and vegetables, not iceberg lettuce. Portions are big and there's a good variety of choices. Service is fast, very pleasant and seem to be happy doing what there doing...thus there is a very good energy to the place and everyone seems at home. It's a very casual environment. “Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“
“I literally loved everything about my experience this evening, but why did it take over an hour to be served our 5 Wraps or Hamburgers on a Monday evening? I feel communication is key in any business and nothing was said to us about how long the food was taking tonight. So, in my mind as a paying customer with high expectations, I assume this is how things are always run here. Of course, I’m hopeful this is not the case, but when nobody communicates, people will automatically assume this is the norm for this business.If our waiter would have just communicated and been up front about the situation, I would have given 5 Stars. Food was great and he was a really nice guy, but waiting almost an hour and a half on a Monday evening for some bar food seems so wrong without any explanation.
