“They had the best food in the state!!! We LOVED all of their food especially their chicken and breakfasts and well lunches were awesome too but then they decided they were not going to serve food anymore just ice cream! When we heard that our hearts just broke! Double Deuce Diner was the best Diner ever! I heard all of this happened due to politics in our little towns government a power struggle ...cso we heard anyway ..and well the government won so here we are with a second ice cream store and left out in the cold !! I am basing my rating on the diner when it served food. Not just ice cream!“
“Had a great time here with my son! We got food and then bowled a few games and then also played a couple games of pool... we had a great time. Its a pretty small place but it works for the village of stockbridge i suppose. Food was good but i got the sampler appetizer and was a little disappointed because they kinda skimp on that meal in my opinion any ways, the chicken and mozzarella sticks were very good but unfortunately they only give u 2 of each of those and then u get a handful of fried mushrooms and potato wedges and only like 3 onion rings and they forgot our mini tacos at first but she brought them out eventually, my son had the wet burrito which he and i both liked it, it was tasty and it was a good size brurrito for the price!Bowling was fine, although we ended up having to move lanes because there was an issue half way thru our second game with the machine not being able to set up our pins for whatever reason. But it was all good she kept our same score and just scooted us down a couple of lanes. No biggie.The pool was fun and only a dollar to play which was great except there pool table is in a terrible spot right next to a large family sized table so if you have to try and take yr shot from the one side you had to take a shot around the people at the table which was really annoying foŕ us and for them too im sure!! But over all my son and i had a good time and enjoyed ourselves and will probably be back.“
“For what it is: A Bar/Grill/Saloon, It was outstanding. Food was very good, service prompt and friendly. For example...salads are made with mixed greens and vegetables, not iceberg lettuce. You can tell care goes into the food at this place. Live music was enjoyable. The atmosphere was Saloony and comfortable. I will definitely go back if I pass by again.“
“Some of the best food you’ll ever find at a ‘bar’ muchless good restaurant food period, the staff is incredible. Make us feel like family. Has become our ‘home’ when we need a place to unwind and we can’t get enough of being here because we just feel like we belong.. did I mention they make amazing home made soup too?“
“Arrived for dinner after a 22 mile hike so we were tired and hungry. I ordered the dirty rice and a bloody Mary. Both were very good! The smoked meat in the dirty rice was amazing. Huge helping for one person. We had a new server and she kept checking on us. The owner came by to say hi. A nice small town joint. Very lean beer selection which was disappointing.“
“We rented the space for my bridal shower and I can not say enough good things about it. Very reasonably priced, full kitchen, and plenty of space for 40+ guests in the main room. Jackie was wonderful to work with. Would rent again and recommend to all!“
