“My experience at Applebees was very great, it was very busy so I was nervous about dealing with a rude server or long wait on food. It was the exact opposite! My server Vanessa was OUTSTANDING! When I tell you I watched this lady bartend and serve at the same time while it being as busy as it was, I was so impressed! She was very nice and always kept a smile on her face even with it being busy. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant in general. She made sure my boyfriend and I were comfortable and satisfied. She gave impeccable service and I couldn’t just give her a tip. She deserves to be recognized! Thank you Vanessa for being the worker and person you are! Shout out to the cooks as well, my food was hot and delicious! Thank you Applebees for your amazing worker(s) & food!“
“As much as East Lansing has changed in the last 20 years, this place hasn’t and I love it. I almost got lost going because I didn’t recognize my old neighborhood but felt a return to home when I walked in. Buckets of beer, the MSU fight song sang after a Spartan win, and some after dinner karaoke to finish out a great reunion with some classmates. Get the tater tots!!“
“This is my girlfriend's and my favorite place to go. Everything about it is comfortable and tasty. Highly highly recommend for any age range.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a wheelchair user and it is super roomy to move my powerchair around without feeling like I'm bumping into customers or waitstaff. Lots of tables to pick from. Wish more places were like this“
“Service is always excellent, staff members are kind and attentive to dining needs. Joe is amazing and one of the best servers on staff. I tried the strawberry shortcake which was made by Peter. Amazing dish. The strawberry compote was fresh and the raspberry chocolate ganache was a perfect balance between sweet and tart and the entire dessert incorporated different textures of crunch and gooey. I would recommend to anyone and thank the staff for placing it on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options and chefs are cognizant of dietary restrictions and allergens.“
“Just had the best experience ever in the private event room for my daughter’s Sweet 16. The FieldHouse team took great care of us! I highly recommend hosting your next party/private event here. Such a good space in the heart of downtown EL!“
“Don’t waste your money in Greektown; stay local and enjoy the best Greek (and American) food in central Michigan. Excellent seafood, egg lemon soup, pastichio and breakfast entrees—- Chef Grigoris is a master. The service is absolutely top notch; love this place!“
“Absolutely amazing! Their burgers are so amazing! Myself and the 2 others I brought with me came from out of town to eat here. Absolutely can't say enough great things. The waitress was absolutely amazing and on top of everything!! Definitely will make the hour plus drive again. 10/10 ???“
“It’s a tiny spot but very yummy and NOT corporate, so go in for the lunch special. Super friendly staff and an amazing drink station featuring two pics of the rapper Ice Cube on the ice maker, which makes it the best ice maker in town obviously.“
“I'll give an overall 4 star for the two times I've thus far gone to this Denny's. The first time I got a chicken breast entré on a bed of grilled veggies which tasted nice, but the chicken was sliced rather than the two whole fillets shown in the picture, the potatoes and other veggies were overcooked (mushy), while the broccoli amongst them were clearly an "oops I forgot them" after thought, and therefore likely micro-waved and thrown on with the rest as if they'd been amongst them when grilled, but they were too green, generally under cooked yet rubbery as a microwave would accomplish, hence I think that this is what happened. Today's entré was some kind of baked barbecue Mac n cheese with beef and nice onion rings draped across the top. It was quite nice. However my side salad was clearly no different than if I went to the grocery store and got a bag of mixed salad-the kind with the over dry carrot shreds and hard unpalatable purple cabbage in it--but with a couple cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices to make it look like they actually prepared it. The store is very clean, a nice atmosphere, and thus far the staff seems nice and servicing. I'll gladly go back and try other things on the menu....wonder if Denny's still serves breakfasts smothered and covered...hmmmm.“
“Went for brunch, the food was great (potato cakes are a must)! Their mimosas are really nice because juice and champagne come separately you get to DIY!! Highly recommend, my only complaint is that for how empty the restaurant was sat for 5+ minutes before anyone came over to us. Our waitress (Monica?) was not very attentive. Our drinks were never refilled.... we could see her chatting with coworkers at the host stand. She walked past multiple times without ever checking on us. For how slow the restaurant was I was unimpressed with our service, but the food and drinks made up for it. Would have left 5 stars if our service was better.“
“A very cute, locally owned company with delicious food at a great price. I found this place when my last job decided to grab takeout for lunch, and they happened to be one of the few places in town you can get a good mashed potato bowl. I've been going since, and I'm hooked on their fried pita wedges and parmesan ranch.Definitely one of the hidden gems of East Lansing!Vegetarian options: You can opt for no chicken on most of the menu. The potato bowls can come with corn, mushroom, and peppers! Some of their soups are also vegetarian.“
