At a time when hospitality and customer service seem to be sharply declining across the country, the staff at Beggar's always excel. If I didn't love their brunch, which I do, I would choose to go there because of their exceptional service.
Tried this place out for the first time the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The food was pretty good although I will say with the shrimp po boy it was a little more peppered than I like. The poutine was amazing. Overall 9.5 out of 10.

Went for brunch, the food was great (potato cakes are a must)! Their mimosas are really nice because juice and champagne come separately you get to DIY!! Highly recommend, my only complaint is that for how empty the restaurant was sat for 5+ minutes before anyone came over to us. Our waitress (Monica?) was not very attentive. Our drinks were never refilled.... we could see her chatting with coworkers at the host stand. She walked past multiple times without ever checking on us....read full review
