“Great location with a lot of nearby parking in the garages. Views over campus are perfect. Bar service is fast (hey, it's a campus bar after all!), but service out on the patio is great, too, if you are patient because the place does get full. They do enforce id's, of course, but they also enforce the maximum head count. This is fabulous because it means they get full but never overpacked (you know what I'm talking about). Decent selection of beers and whiskeys. Wine choices are slim but ok. They'll make any mixed drink you can name or describe, so go for it. If you want to enjoy the views with less of a crowd, go early. But if you want the views, the crowd, and the energy? “As much as East Lansing has changed in the last 20 years, this place hasn’t and I love it. I almost got lost going because I didn’t recognize my old neighborhood but felt a return to home when I walked in. Buckets of beer, the MSU fight song sang after a Spartan win, and some after dinner karaoke to finish out a great reunion with some classmates. Get the tater tots!!“
“My husband and I visited on a Wednesday night and had a great experience! It was a fun atmosphere without being too loud. We both had cheeseburgers with fries and a Michigan Mule. Everything was SO delicious and fresh. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. Honestly, we did not have high hopes for this place as it's a bar across from a college campus, but we were pleasantly surprised!! Will definitely return next time we are in town.“
