The desire for donuts was strong a couple weekends ago and thanks to fellow reviewers we found and tried Golden Donuts. The free and easy to access parking was nice. The shop itself was very cozy for the few minutes we were in there picking up our order. The donuts selection was varied and they tasted good too. We appreciated it.
Great donuts and fritters! Very sweet donuts ?, really chocolious cream filled donuts. The fritters are as big as your head! I wish they would offer them unglazed as well, we like to make them as French toast and in the waffle iron, with them all being glazed we can't make either with their fritters because the sugar burns.

We were visiting Detroit and wanted to find great donuts. Saw the reviews for Golden Donuts. Great little donut shop with a lot of selection even at 11am The lady who helped us was very friendly and informative. The crullers are AMAZING! I love crullers and not very many places make them. We ended up getting a dozen donuts and an apple fritter. The fritter was huge so we had to get one. The donuts are great! I will visit again when I am in Detroit.
