“My family used the Game Room 2/23/25 for a Memorial Gathering for my brother, Andrew Clark. Though the reason for the occasion was a somber one, the Game Room was perfect in atmosphere, size, amenities, and decor! Food was top notch, service superior with our 2 bartenders who kept dishes clear and beverages flowing. Erin, the manager was a jewel to work with! She answered questions and offered suggestions and took every phone call with grace and sincerity. Update: after about 10 visits here I can say a few things real quick. I think the staff needs a lot more room behind the counter they dance around each other trying to provide the best and quickest service possible.

Also, the space needs some sound insulation, the staff has a really hard time hearing us. A few small modifications can make a huge quality of life difference for these hard workers who serve delicious healthy food.“

“I recently catered a party with Taco Vida, and it was an incredible experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the tender chicken and steak. The guacamole and tortillas were delicious. The portions were generous, and everything arrived perfectly packed. If you’re looking to impress your guests with authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine, Taco Vida is the way to go. Highly recommend!

“One word for tonight’s experience: luscious! Fall-inspired cocktails, bone marrow on pumpernickel toast with greens, grilled pork chop with apple slaw, honeynut squash fettuccine with pickled mushrooms, brussels sprouts with pancetta & blue cheese, and my favorite - mushroom risotto. I loved the variety of layers in each dish. You can combine different components within each dish and get a new delicious bite. Friendly and knowledgeable server (Crystal), beautiful restaurant and grounds. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.“

“Cute, comfy, and eclectic spot! The staff here are such a delight, which is definitely the highlight (aside from a vegan friendly establishment in Waterford/Clarkston). I’ve been here twice so far, and we ordered the LA Garden and Picasso, which are breakfast scrambles (tofu sub $1.50 and vegan cheese sub $1). The lattes are also nice.“

“Best "any reason" stop! Lunch? Need a date night stop? Kids need a treat? Mexican food, bubble tea and ice cream- they have it all.

Mexican Food: I had the tacos. Made to order, fair price and FABULOUS!!!! You have to stop in just for tacos, nachos, quesadillas, bowls. The steak is perfecto.

Bubble Tea: unexpected surprise. Great flavor options. My daughter had the strawberry smoothie with mango popping bubbles. She liked it. I have the traditional milk tea with tapioca pearls. Very delicious. The milk tea was on the sweet side (I tend to like less sugar taste). Boba was perfectly cooked.

Ice Cream: didn't try it this time but they had eight or more different soft serve flavors with a whole bunch of fresh-looking toppings. Lots of flavors.

Overall this place is a must stop. Doesn't look much from the outside but well worth to check it out. It is very very clean and the staff was extremely personable.

“I travel a lot for work and so I try a lot of different smoothies & recently I was in town and stopped by here to try out a smoothie - it was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and it was healthy! (It was the protein shake with espresso, I forget the exact name.) The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining their menu and what they offer. I highly recommend this place!! (The smoothie was full when I got it but I drank some of it before I remembered to take the picture lol.)“

The atmosphere was nice and inviting. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their treats, but it wasn’t busy at all.

I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie frozen yogurt, which is both gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me—it was really sweet and lacked strong pineapple or coconut flavors. I ended up giving it to the kids. I was hoping it would be closer to the pineapple flavor they had before.

Even though that flavor wasn’t my favorite, I would still recommend Menchie’s! This location was friendlier than the last one I visited, they have a good selection, and lots of toppings to choose from. I also appreciate that they charge by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you want.“

“I've gone to this location three times now. I've been to other locations and the experience has been poor. This Dixie location, is the best one out there! The staff is nice. The store is clean. The food is made with love whether it be eat in or take out. Sometimes the chicken sandwich tender can be too small, more chicken nugget than tender. The cheese curds are also not enough portion or size for the price. The fries have enough seasoning, the ranch is delicious, the burger is put together well. We love eating here!
