Subway is usually a good franchise no matter what town you visit; however, some stores are better than others. The store in Clio, Michigan is an excellent representation of what Subway restaurants should be! The store is clean and was attractively decorated for Halloween. The food was fresh and of great quality. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, efficient, and thorough! There were 3 young men running the store, and they were all great! I have always had good, attentive service here. The staff listens to the customer and prepares delicious sandwiches per the customer's directions. The meats and vegetables are fresh. The fountain drinks are well mixed. I prefer Dr. Pepper and this is one of the few restaurants I can spend on to get the mix of syrup and carbonated water right. The oven broke at this location today. The staff were clearly overwhelmed with orders. The only bread they had was from another location.My one complaint is a choice the corporate location made (a while ago I assume). Although this location might accept the occasional coupon, most locations only allow deals from the app. I’m from a another part of Michigan, but it’s the same case there.
