“Big Boy brings back Nostalgia for me and anytime I’m on a trip I try and find one in Michigan. Reminds me of days gone by. From the moment I walked in I was met with a smile and was immediately seated and a waitress came over and took my order and although the restaurant is older and looks like it might need some updates, the food was great, my big boy burger was overflowing with hamburger as the portion was excellent and most of all my chocolate shake was phenomenal as I’ve tried shakes all over the world but none compare to the big boy shakes and I found this out years later as the secret is they use ice cream. So come to the big boy in Clio Michigan for great service, great food and the best milk shakes!“

However I got orange chicken recently and shrimp rice within the past few weeks, and it was amazing! The quality is significantly better than in the past.

“I finally made it here for the firat time today! I have allergies to Gluten, Dairy, and Soy. From customer service to packaging to eating everything was amazing!! I was so impressed that he started off by asking if I had any allergies, then if I had ever been there before. The food is absolutely amazing and I am so glad I purchased enough to last me for several lunches at work. I will be back and I will be telling everyone. Also, the restaurant was so so clean!!! The owner was also very kind to me little guy and talked to him.“

“We stopped on the way home from Frankenmuth. We always stop when on trips up north. Today was HIGHLY disappointing. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. The bottom bread was soaked, I’m guessing someone didn’t drain the sauerkraut. I pointed it out. Instead of taking the plate to the kitchen to remake the sandwich she went to get a new bun. About 15 minutes later. I said EXCUSE ME , she said she’s waiting for them to make it ?? It wasn’t toasted or anything what’s to make ?? Still waiting…she brought me a piece of bun. Now the cheese is cold all in a clump and I had to make my own sandwich. I could have done that at home. I have NEVER not tipped until today. Most was brought home so I can warm it up and make it properly. I didn’t hit DO NOT RECOMMEND only because over 16 years this was the first incident. The waitresses handling of it was very poor !! And it wasn’t busy what so ever.“

“I’ve been a long time Bob’s pizza customer as I grew up in the Kearsley area. However, just last weekend we had to place a large catering order for my rehearsal dinner and I just wanted to share our great experience! Our friends and family loved the food. Highly recommend for a Friday family pizza night or also for an event! You can’t go wrong 😋“

“So we calorie splurged on a Big Ole Applebee's burger and switched up to waffle fries (for a nominal fee), and got 5 and a half waffle fries on the plate... not at all what we expected for an upcharge side. Our server agreed that was 'kinda skimpy' and said she would 'go yell at him for us'... We never saw a manager to flag down, which is unusual at Applebees, and will probably go to a different Applebees next time. We do like menu and the food, but there's an Applebees at every exit!“

“Flushing A is great, at the center of downtown, its the heart of American fast food for Flushing but it no longer will be fast if yall dont fix your drive up speakers. “Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!“

“Smoked wings are double cooked and F amazing after they’re fried! The French fries are fluffy and crispy, in a super amazing way. The potato salad is Grandmas recipe but great! Rib tips could be cooked slower because they always have a tough bark. Brisket is usually cooked past done and has little smoke flavor. This review as I read it seems negative but it’s being compared legacy bbq recipes and restaurants. Michigan has difficulty in acquiring mesquite and firing old school steel outdoor smokers. This bbq restaurant is my absolute favorite except for BALDWINS ON M46“

Street tacos/ carne asada was surprisingly good. Spicy shrimp tacos weren't spicy at all too much tomato sauce no spice. Pulled pork tacos were different to try but I wish I hadn't. Fish Taco was worth ordering too.“

“I popped in last week and went to the takeout counter, ordered my 15 boneless sweet barbecue wings. OH MY GOSHHHHHH, they were so absolutely delicioussssssss!!!!! And in the bag was several pieces of crunchy, fresh celery & 3 little containers of the BEST BLEU CHEESE dressing.... let's just say I wasn't in heaven!
