“Wonderful family restaurant. I appreciate that many of the menu item are made in house opposed to the same frozen stuff available in town! My family has made a yearly tradition 3+ years now of apending Thanksgiving with Dawn's place and look forward all year to those cheesy potatoes! Best cheesecake on EARTH. Check her out. It's Colon Michigan's best kept gem. Thank you Dawn and the team!”

“Oh my goodness what a lovely experience. A group of ours bought tickets for a guest chef Saturday dinner (Sarah Rinklage) and were thrilled with the evening. The staff is charming and incredible. The venue is cozy and rustic. Sarah’s menu was fantastic. Looking forward to our next special event at Farrand Hall.

Could be improved: communication. 3 of my 4 emails went unanswered (hence the need for 4 emails) and as first time guests had questions that weren’t entirely answered by the FAQ page. The site says emails will be answered in 24 hours and that was not our experience.

But otherwise, certainly a 5-star experience that we can’t wait to share with other friends, to bring them along for another outing. Well done.”

“My wife and I ordered broasted chicken wich was pretty good. We don't care for white meat so we asked if we could get dark meat and was told yes. When I got the bill I was charged an extra$4 for the dark meat. We were not told this when we ordered. Probably won't go back.”

“I love the aesthetic of this restaurant, it’s so cute. The service was good, and the time from ordering to eating was good as well. The food was excellent, delicious every bite. I had a double burger & fries, my mom had a turkey sub and fries. We both had their coleslaw, and it is by far the best I have ever had. I will put a disclaimer for those gluten sensitive and celiac peeps I’m not sure if it’s the burger (no bun) or the fries, but I was extremely sick and in pain after eating here. My guess is the fries as they were seasoned and not the regular fries. I highly suggest that this restaurant warns people about the seasoned fries. While they taste great, it wasn’t worth feeling sick all day afterwards, and it could kill somebody who has celiac. All in all though, I definitely recommend eating here.”

“I love this place. In all the times we've been there the food has been excellent. The staff is super friendly and efficient. It's one of the best steaks you'll find. Only thing that could make this any better would be to add a second floor and bigger parking lot to accommodate more people. Oh and the Watermelon Crawl, 👍👍👍👍👍”

“Meat lovers pizza was so delicious...the crust was cooked to perfection with a crunch like I like it. It wasn't soaked in sauce and overly cheesed. It was fresh, hot and delicious. Everyone enjoyed it, I recommend this restaurant for pizza!!”

“Never having been there before i wasn’t sure what to expect, was greeted by one of the owners upon entry. He got us seated and wasn’t over bearing at all, but managed to get us service right away and came back to talk with us for a quick minute. Throughout our dinning experience he made sure to check on us as did the waitress. We ordered the Sid steak and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Perfectly cooked and the veggies on the side were a perfect touch! Our waitress was on top of things too. 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone”
