Always been my go-to for mtb and ski stays. Awesome and accommodating crew, super fair prices and often availability when others are booked.
Love this restaurant. wish

The Mariner North Restaurant in Copper Harbor is a charming local spot that leaves a lasting impression. Known for its cozy atmosphere and friendly service, it is the perfect place to enjoy comfort food after a day of exploring. The artisan grilled cheese is highly recommended, along with The First Mate and The Smokestack, which offer next-level comfort food that is flavorful and made with care.
Visitors appreciate the great selection of hearty meals, including the "Ensign" steak sandwich and the beer battered haddock with baked potatoes, which are generous in portion size. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options, catering to various dietary needs. However, some guests have noted that service can be slow at times, with longer waits for drink orders and food.
Despite a few service hiccups, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return. The Mariner North Restaurant is not fine dining, but it provides a great local family atmosphere with a decent beer selection and mixed drinks. The restaurant is neat and clean, though a bit dated, but it remains a favorite among locals and travelers alike. For anyone visiting Copper Harbor, stopping at The Mariner is a must.
