“Popped in for a couple drinks and some fries. Crinkle cut was a lovely surprise. Made delicious glasses of my specialty drink. Super friendly bartenders. Would definitely check out their Fish Fry-Day.

“Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.
It was busy and the crowd was watching the game so it was fun. Tony U was our server and was on it. ?

“Every single food item my group got we loved. I got pierogies, and Philly with truffle tots. First off whoever thought of truffle tots should win an award. The truffle, herbs, and cheese get in the crispy crevices which makes it so tasty! My friends got pretzels and burgers... all great! $4 craft drafts on Thurs with music bingo was nice! If I ever drive 45 minutes to Wyandotte again, I'll hit this place up.“

“It's an okay spot at best, but only because the staff is great.. except the security dudes. All of the security fellas look and speak as if they are mad about something. Maybe it's their job to look hard??? IDK If you're okay with cigar and weed smoke, you'll probably enjoy Soul on Ice. During warm weather days the patio is only for smokers because you cannot escape the smoke no matter what. Do not expect to lounge outside if you're not a smoker of "something". The stinch of smoke gets indoors too because people are smoking at both doors, or they are standing with one foot in and the other out. There's a few ghetto people that go there, but, that's pretty much expected in Detroit, so there's no running from that type. At least Soil on Ice don't water down their drinks, or replace top shelf with cheap stuff like TV is very well known to do. 4.5 stars out of 5 for the DJs, food, and drinks, but the mean-faced security staff and cigars and weed all over the place brings the rating down to 1.0001. Yes, 1.0001 stars! We're rooting for Soul on Ice to continue on for many years, but my wife and I will likely not return unless we have absolutely nothing else to do, or they rearrange the whole smoking setup. Non-smokers want to party indoors and out too! I'm done with this review. I'm off to put my clothes through five cycles of hot water washing using Tide Super Duty Scent Destroyer Extra.“

“I was in Detroit for a business trip, and looking for a place to relax en femme (my thing). Other CDs advised me to go to Adam's Apple. For a gurl, it is the best place EVER! I was there two nights, and could not believe the number of gurls there, men also (not enough or too shy to my taste, but that is another story). You go to such bars for the people, not the place, and it checked all the boxes!“

“Biergarten is one of our favorite local places! This year they saved my fiancé’s 30th birthday when another local bar could no longer accommodate us last minute. I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Great people. Great place.“
“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? “Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. The prices on drinks are quite reasonable, especially during happy hour.One thing to keep in mind is that there is not a lot of space and the restrooms are not too convenient.Overall, this place has great prices on drinks and may be a decent place to go to before heading to a nearby bar with food.“

“This place is amazing! We were waiting for a comedy show to start, we weren't sure about it at first, but felt right at home when we walked in! Sarah was our waitress, who is also a 15 year experienced bartender on the side, was AMAZING to say the least! She was so friendly, helped make us crazy custom shots and was happy to do it!!
Umm they had FUNNEL CAKE FRIES! yeah, like French fries coated in FUNNEL cake batter!!

“Been coming here since I was 21 with a 10yeqr gap in my mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Even when they’re packed we have good service. TV’s everywhere so every seat has a good view of whatever game is on. And they have touch tones so you control the music when there isn’t a game. Pleasant and attentive staff. Great beer selection and it’s always fresh. Just wish there were a few more healthy food selections. Even so everything is tasty. Chili is definitely some of the best restaurant chili available and in the fall they have rotating soups.“

“This is a Moose Club that has genuinely nice people! The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a super friendly, smiling hello from everyone! They had a taco special tonight where you could get hard or soft shell tacos, or, to entice you more, they also did a loaded taco tots. It was a nice size order of tots, and they didn't skimp on the meat or the toppings. The nice price was only $6!!! I had a mixed drink and the taco tots and was very full! My total bill was $8.75. I haven't had a dinner and a drink for that price in a VERY LONG TIME! I recommend you join the Moose Club in whatever town you live in that has a local Moose. Not only for the great food that is priced right, but also for the many friends you will make when you visit any Moose Club that you find on vacation, or just passing through.“
