“This is a Moose Club that has genuinely nice people! The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a super friendly, smiling hello from everyone! They had a taco special tonight where you could get hard or soft shell tacos, or, to entice you more, they also did a loaded taco tots. It was a nice size order of tots, and they didn't skimp on the meat or the toppings. The nice price was only $6!!! I had a mixed drink and the taco tots and was very full! My total bill was $8.75. I haven't had a dinner and a drink for that price in a VERY LONG TIME! I recommend you join the Moose Club in whatever town you live in that has a local Moose. Not only for the great food that is priced right, but also for the many friends you will make when you visit any Moose Club that you find on vacation, or just passing through.“

I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. “I was in Detroit for a business trip, and looking for a place to relax en femme (my thing). Other CDs advised me to go to Adam's Apple. For a gurl, it is the best place EVER! I was there two nights, and could not believe the number of gurls there, men also (not enough or too shy to my taste, but that is another story). You go to such bars for the people, not the place, and it checked all the boxes!“

“Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.

It was busy and the crowd was watching the game so it was fun. Tony U was our server and was on it. ?
Cocktails were pricey to me considering the size

Super nice and polite, she was very understanding when I told her about the guy who took my drink, lol. I had a fun time playing chess, talking shit, I wish that there was food, this is the only thing, but even without food, the bar was fantastic, I don't know, maybe there was food and I was too drunk, I don't know. Fun bar, great time. If you're going to come here, don't be too serious.. You will have a fun time, I promise you. Everyone there is polite. But seriously, if you come to this bar, seriously, just give Star your money and she will give you a great drink. She's also super nice so no need to be uptight at this bar, you'll be okay! This bar, great place, there's a party that's going to be at this bar tomorrow, if you're going to come to this bar, seriously, just go to Star, she'll give you a good drink seriously.. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “It's an okay spot at best, but only because the staff is great.. except the security dudes. All of the security fellas look and speak as if they are mad about something. Maybe it's their job to look hard??? IDK If you're okay with cigar and weed smoke, you'll probably enjoy Soul on Ice. During warm weather days the patio is only for smokers because you cannot escape the smoke no matter what. Do not expect to lounge outside if you're not a smoker of "something". The stinch of smoke gets indoors too because people are smoking at both doors, or they are standing with one foot in and the other out. There's a few ghetto people that go there, but, that's pretty much expected in Detroit, so there's no running from that type. At least Soil on Ice don't water down their drinks, or replace top shelf with cheap stuff like TV is very well known to do. 4.5 stars out of 5 for the DJs, food, and drinks, but the mean-faced security staff and cigars and weed all over the place brings the rating down to 1.0001. Yes, 1.0001 stars! We're rooting for Soul on Ice to continue on for many years, but my wife and I will likely not return unless we have absolutely nothing else to do, or they rearrange the whole smoking setup. Non-smokers want to party indoors and out too! I'm done with this review. I'm off to put my clothes through five cycles of hot water washing using Tide Super Duty Scent Destroyer Extra.“

“If you live in Wyandotte, the Oak is the one of the best places to go for an excellent variety of craft beer both on tap and in bottles. For those in the back of the room, this bar is cash only. Literally, cash only. They do have an ATM inside. Their food menu is amazing and they have a variety of different appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. If you are a Jeep owner, they have a rubber duck machine. Can’t say enough great things about this place! If you like craft beer, this is the place to be!“
