First time visiting Detroit and my first stop was here. I was a bit concerned if the quality would be as good given all the hype but the food was amazing. The meat kofta was so juicy and the toum was garlicky heaven. The meal was amazing not only cause of the food but also because of our amazing server, Mary. She was so incredibly sweet and made sure that we had everything we needed. Offered us a refill of hot bread when our entrees came and wasn’t stingy at all with the toum....

I had an incredible dining experience at Al ameer ]! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The highlight of our evening was Juju, our server, who provided top-notch service with a smile. Juju was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made fantastic recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed.
