“On a visit to Michigan so I decided to try Asian cuisine.. this place was recommended by a family member who lives in Michigan and they tried it before.
I was excited to go since they said great things about the food.
Free covered Parking are available within 1 min walking distance from the restaurant.
Easy to locate, outside and inside tables. We were welcomed with a nice smile from the host, tables are clean, chairs are comfortable.
The menu was clear and easy to read, prices were listed (so you are not gonna be surprised with fat bill at the end).
I asked the waiter about few dishes and he well explained everything.
We ordered three noodles (some comes with chicken broth and some with fish broth), rice, chicken and curry.
You can tell them how spicy you want your food.
Food arrived in 3 minutes, presentation was great!
The food tastes so good and exactly what we wished.
The spice level is exactly what we ordered.
Prices are acceptable for what you get ($15-17 for a big bowl of pho).
The restroom are clean and smell nice, warm water and hand wash are perfect.
I ended up paying like 76 for four main dishes and we hardly finished our food.
The waiter checked on us few times and filled our cups.
It was very good experience, I will give it a second visit when I come to Michigan.“

“First time visit to Detroit Shipping Co. and wanted to try a bit of everything. Bangkok 96 Street Food was definitely a highlight! My boyfriend got a Tikka Masala from the spot next door but he loved my grilled chicken so much we got a candied beef and some crab ragon to go. Genevieve, the owner, was the absolute sweetest. “I used to live in Plymouth Mi. and we used to go to Windsor Ontario, to eat at the Mini quite often. We now live in Fla and don't have the ability to patronize the restaurant very often any more. I was wondering if it's possible to get the recipe for your brown gravy mussel dish on a bed of rice and shredded lettuce, with onions and peppers. If I could just get the gravy recipe I think I could handle the rest. Really miss your restaurant!!! Ty!“

Food:
I ordered fried rice and blueberry lamb chops. They rice was so good and very flavorful. If you like rice you'll probably love these. The Lambchops were ok. I should have gotten them well done but this was my first time getting lamb chops. They were medium well and this probably made them ok and not off the bone good to me.
I also tried their Yes, Chef whiskey drink. It was too good not to order two.

Service:
The service was cool and the staff were awesome. They were very attentive to our table. While the conversation was rolling the drinks were flowing and that's how it should be.

Atmosphere:
The place was beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. A little difficult to move at times but once your down it's all good. The music was a little loud and it did make it a little difficult to talk.

Overall, I'd come here for the drinks and appetizers. If you like this review drop a thumb.“

“My granddaughter and I went here for dinner before attending the Candle Light Hip Hop Concert. We enjoyed the Chorizo Mandu dumplings (really loved the dipping sauce) and 10 K-Town wings with the Sweet Gochuchang glaze as our appetizers. Both delicious. We both ordered the Milk Bread Birria Grilled Cheese which is my personal favorite. The Birria dipping sauce is quite tasty. Keep vowing to order something different but it’s so good! We both had to take half of our sandwiches home because we were so full. Our server was very nice and attentive, the staff here always are. We got here just shortly after they opened so there were only a few other people inside, and it was also the super cold below freezing Friday night. But we enjoyed every bit of it.“

The presentation of the food never disappoints as well as being fresh and hot. Our waiter (Ricky) was amazing from start to finish. He was very personable and attentive. Our experiment as a whole was a definite 10/10!“

“It seems as if the corned beef could have been fresher it had a Gray look to it and and one while they were truly a delight to eat and then it needs a booster a upgrade it really needs recalibrating. “I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“

“I ordered this through uber a few times now. It’s my new fave place! I love that you can get fried noodles with the combos instead of rice. I got the sesame chicken and it was delicious. Chicken was still crispy even with the sauce. The pork dumplings were great as well! Portions are a great size, I always have leftovers. Still so tasty the next day. Personally, I love this place!“
