I recently visited one my favorite restaurants during my time in Highschool. Upon walking in, I noticed it had been renovated since my last visit after my High School graduation; but had managed to maintained a cozy environment. I didn't recognize the staff, but never the less the service was good, NOW let's get to the star of it all... the food??.....I was elated when I received my food and it was just how I remembered it. Love this place! Still cooking good food and it's even remodeled BY THE YOUNG BLACK KINGS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD! They have given this long time staple in the neighborhood the most beautiful and well deserved msgr over ever!

My husband and two brothers stopped by for lunch on the go ordered two salmon,eggs and grits, turkey breakfast sandwich and chicken and waffles. Every was hot and delicious. If felt like homemade, made like someone cared about the quality of food.We will be back!
