I’m one happy gluten free lady. Her baked goods are perfection. Warm blueberry peach basil galette…to die for. Pop tart and scone were spectacular! And if you are gluten-free, you understand the excitement! Coffee was good too!
I was excited to try the coffee shop. I wanted a flat white and the barista just poured some warm milk on top of my espresso. No effort to properly pour it and no latte art (see photo attached). Unfortunately, it has been quite a let down.. many reviews comment that this is a coffee-oriented coffee shop, but that hasn’t been my experience
Anthology is one of my favorite coffee-focused coffee shops in Detroit. All baked goods made in house are gluten free, with a phenomenal quiche during the weekend! The treats are so good and heavily focus on in-season fruits so you never really know what will be in the pastry case. They're so delicious, you might scare your gluten-free friends! The baristas are wonderful and very knowledgeable about the coffee.
