Bev's Bagels is a perfect little neighborhood bagel spot with a great vibe. The bagels are big, fat, perfectly-chewy, solid, and delicious high quality sourdough. They come with generous portions of yummy, delicious housemade cream cheese smear. The menu is playful with different types, featuring outstanding egg sandwiches, a reuben, and a renowned tuna melt. It is comfort food at its best. The place gets busy with a line out the door, but service is extremely quick, efficient, and friendly. There is great counter space and some small tables inside, though seating can be quite limited. A great adjacent park provides plenty of room outside in warmer months. Bagels stay fresh for days and freeze well. Prices are reasonable, reflecting the generous portions.
