Cannons is an awesome little spot with a classic pub downstairs and an intimate dance club upstairs. The interior of the lower level gives an old English bar, with beautiful wood accents and furniture that looks like it's been there for a century. The decor is cute and tastefully done, offering a cozy vibe perfect for a date night or spending time with friends. The staff is amazing and ridiculously kind. The upstairs bartender is very kind and personable, making everyone feel right at home. The drinks are great and a good price. They take their Guinness very seriously, with a perfect pour every time. The margarita is incredibly fresh, and the peach spin on the old fashioned is a delightful twist on a classic. The oysters, both raw and Rockefeller, are incredible, and the meat pie on the Plowman’s plate absolutely steals the show. The soundsystem is great, consistently booking great DJs upstairs, with music on point and not too loud for conversation. There is also a rooftop that will be open when it gets warm.
