Coney Star absolutely earns five stars from me. This place nails exactly what a great coney spot should be—fast, flavorful, and consistently satisfying every time you walk in.
The vibe is classic Hamtramck: no fuss, just good food and a steady flow of regulars who clearly know what they’re here for. The chili dogs are solid, the fries come out hot and crisp, and everything tastes like it was made with real care even when the place is busy.
