My in-laws lived in Germany. I went to the Dakota in with them at Christmas and they were almost teary eyes at how much at home it felt. The music fun, the food traditional, and the atmosphere lovely. If you are worried about parking, they have a gaurd that ensures the cars stay safe- weve never had a problem there. It is a lively place. Also, the mead is yummy. Lastly, I believe they close july, so check their website if you are lookinh to go in July.
The Dakota inn is a German style bar and restaurant authentically food options and beer and wine to accompany. It's been a little while since I've been there. Normally I go during their festive fall sing-along around October november. Coming in the summer was a new experience for myself. It's only open 4 days a week Wednesday through Saturday. Under the new ownership, Dakota Inn is back and better than ever. The food had been honestly lacking in recent years but it feels like a revival now.
