I hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the DBC. The planning process was extremely easy, and Dawn and the team were so so helpful and nice to work with. The team really took care of us and even made us signature drink menus! I highly recommend them for any event!
Food was very good. However, I have never been to a restaurant where we were charged an automatic gratuity for a party of 4. What's worse, that was never communicated to us. My husband almost left a tip on top of the already 20% gratuity they added to the bill. Totally and completely unacceptable. I guess that explains the mediocre service - if they know they're already getting a good tip (and possibly an extra tip), then what incentive is there to give good service?...
Brenden hooked us up! Specials change when the Tigers are in town... We wanted to try the Creole Jambalaya Fries but were informed they weren't available when we came in. I was disappointed but ordered a drink. As I was finishing my drink and getting ready to leave, Brenden surprised us with the fries we had been looking forward to!!! Can't thank him enough and they are definitely worth coming in for! Beer was pretty dang good too!
