6 stars out of 5 stars. You won’t find anyone better in Detroit than Max and Derek in Detroit. If you are looking for somewhere fun to hang out. Stop by and ask for Max and Derek. Short rib tacos are excellent and Derek pours a good beer and there is not a better host in Detroit than Max.
DBC has never done me wrong. After a Tigers game, Lions game, or stumbling in on opening day. If you can get a spot at the bar they'll put a beer in your hands. Food is great and well priced for downtown. Late menu is solid. There's consistently less people than I expect in here, which is good because there's room for me and mine.
10 of us had dinner and drinks last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it From the hostess to manager to our server, the service was excellent. Food was great. They knew we were headed to the Bugs Bunny opera house show and moved us along at our needed pace. We'll be back!
