My wife's chicken marsala had to be prepared twice. The chicken was not very tender at all. The owner's son came out asked her she would like something else. He offered up veal marsala. The potatoes and spinach from her chicken dishes was put back on her veal plate, cold! When the bill came, they charged us for the veal dish instead of just charging us for the chicken dish. El Barzon never fails to disappoint. We were a party of 12 last night, a family gathering celebrating an upcoming wedding and a birthday. We were gathered from here, Portland, Austin, Boston, Florida and New York City. Huge shout out to Gabriel who I know was running around the restaurant like crazy serving drinks on a busy Saturday night.
