I'm so glad I tried this location. I first tried the one in Ann Arbor and was NOT impressed. The food was overcooked and greasy. But the Detroit location knows what they're doing! I ordered almost a half hour before close but everything was still made fresh and with care. I got the Chorizo Burger (made it loco) with the twice fried ripe plantains. Perfection! The staff was great, too. (Also and improvement from the Ann Arbor one).

Pork sandwich with tropical slaw was awesome. My daughter had the rice bowl, same thing as my sandwich but with coconut rice and some different seasoning. It was delicious. I'll make this a go to place every time I go to Detroit. Plus it's right across the street for the stadiums. Absolutely perfect !
