Grandma Bob's is some of the best pizza in Detroit. I love their sausage and pistachio pizza, the ricotta on there is phenomenal and the gluten free crust crisps up so nicely. They are always accommodating, willing to make 90% of their pizzas gluten free if you need it. J is always a delight to interact with, and the rest of the staff too. You can't go wrong with one of their boozy shakes and the vegan ceaser salad! When it's busy it can get a little (okay very)...
Incredible place and food. Can definitely say this is the best deep dish I’ve ever had (yes better than Chicago). Crust has the perfect level of crisp. Cheese and ingredients taste so fresh! I will certainly come back on my next visit to Detroit.
Grandma Bob’s was a great choice for dinner one night. I stopped here on a Monday evening and it was still quite busy. Despite that, I was able to get a seat at the bar right away, although it was crowded. I ordered the sausage and pistachio pizza, and it was a delicious choice. Pistachio on pizza is a unique topping, but it actually worked well. The pizza tasted vibrant and fresh, and it was a great Detroit style pizza. I’d eat here again in a heartbeat.
