Three of us went to dinner at 530. Great fun! Employees were friendly and good on the job. Comfortable at every level. We ordered many different dishes and every single bite was superb! A great time and we will return soon!

Friendly and fancy. Be prepared to spend but the quality matches the price.

This was the best meal we had in Detroit! We were celebrating an anniversary and they really went out of their way to make it extra special. One - free bubbles, top notch appropriately attentive service (not too much not too little) and a banging wine list. We had white wine and nearly never do - both fantastic. If you are in Detroit and want to dine in a space that is truly magical while comfortable, delicious while not pretentious, and treated so well - here it is. Enjoy.

Food was amazing. Service even better. Viren is a wonderful attentive server. Space is awesome. Had the wine special...was an amazing light bodied red...unlike anything I've had. Great overall experience.

Great wine selection and exceptional food! Menu changes often but on my first visit almost all the dishes on the menu were gluten free. I don't think you can overstate how good the food is. Also try the Serbian skin contact wines. Very good.Dietary restrictions: Almost every dish on the menu was gluten free. The menu does change often but both the wait staff and the chef were very knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free.

For me, this restaurant is overrated. Not sure how it received the semi- finalist award. Very expensive for very little food. You can sit at the bar area and purchase meals for $12. (Sit down is a totally different price range). That is what I will do if ever I return. Wine store inside has great choices, however expensive prices.

We didn't try everything but it felt like there were no wrong choices. The food was excellent and well thought out.Unexpectedly, the service is even better.Attentively aloof is the best way to decide the staff. The idealism shined through, I would like to think it was part of a regimented training program. More likely a happy accident of well mixed chemistry. We were very late to be seated but that allowed us to enjoy this charming space even more. Thank you to all.

We had high expectations for our evening based on the NY Time Best Restaurant list. Our group of 4 was seated at 8pm for our 7:30 Saturday evening reservation. The server accidently broke one of our water glasses which spilled water ( and glass shards) on the table and my husband's seat was still wet when we left the restaurant. We had to ask for new napkins after we used them to blot.We ordered about 7 dishes. All were good, but the boar pasta was the best; however, it was room temperature and we felt that likely this was meant to be served warm but made it to our table at room temperature. As a group of 4, we were surprised that not one of our shared dishes had a serving utensil. A restaurant of this caliber should provide a serving utensil when 4 people are sharing dishes. For our dessert of cheesecake, we were not even provided with individual small plates. We all just stuck our forks in the shared dessert.

I would consider myself something of a Ladder 4 fan girl. It is my favorite space, favorite vibe, favorite wine, favorite food. Everything is such that I am never anything but thrilled when I leave. I love the feeling that I have when I'm there and am always excited when I get to go back.
