My first time experience at London Chop House was wonderful. My husband was celebrating his 60th birthday and has been there before and mentioned he would like to return someday for a nice evening. The door man was refreshing and perfect for your establishment. I mentioned this reservation was for a birthday when I made it and the check in ladies were just lovely with their welcoming greeting, they asked who's birthday and addressed my husband with enthusiasm and kindness....
Reservation: Saturday, June 28 2025 at 6 p.m. Father's 65th birthday. We chose the London Chop House for its advertised “proper attire required” atmosphere. We arrived properly dressed; my dad even bought new dress pants. Inside, many guests wore shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers, and a nearby group of loud, drunk diners dominated the room. Our server and a floor manager apologized repeatedly but took no action. After forty minutes we paid and left to salvage the evening...
Total dining experience. Unique location, incredible food, impeccable service. Our server Matt did a wonderful job and made us feel at home. Next time I am back in Detroit, I know where to go for dinner.
