Lufthansa Group Lounge Reviews
Unwelcoming, priority pass is after 5pm
Came here at about 5:15 on a Tuesday. Barely any food out (I saw two sugar cookies, some cold pasta and what looked like a sad cucumber salad). The coffee machines didn’t work (could only get Americano to work, no hot or cold milk despite the option being on the machine). Floors are disgusting with crumbs and little fruit flies flying everywhere. It felt uncomfortably warm and humid in the room. No staff really came to clean up anyone’s plates and when you checked...read full review
Unpleasant welcome (not friendly), no food, and when there was food, the presentation was as bad as it tasted. It was relatively clean and if you're lucky to find a seat, it's comfortable and quiet - but not worth a paid pass at all. Go here for a drink and quiet space before your flight, but if you have to pay, it's not worth it at all.
WiFi didn't work either.

The Lufthansa Group Lounge at Detroit Metro Airport offers a cozy space for travelers, especially for Star Alliance and Priority Pass passengers. While the lounge can get quite crowded, it provides a calm environment to relax before a flight. The food selection includes simple options like pasta, salad, and chips, which some guests found decent, though there were instances of running out of food during busy times. The variety of alcoholic beverages is appreciated, with many guests noting good drink options.
Although facilities are somewhat basic compared to larger lounges, they are clean and functional. Staff members are generally friendly and efficient, quickly clearing used plates and managing the flow of guests, although some reviews mention issues with check-in processes. The lounge serves as a better alternative to waiting at the terminal gates, despite its limitations. Overall, while some visitors noted the overcrowding and basic offerings, many found their experience to be pleasant and expressed a desire to return for future flights.
