Walked past the location on my way to board flight. Decided to give them a try. You usually can't go wrong with a hot dog. Server was nice and attentive, taking my order promptly. Food arrived promptly, as well. The Coney dog was a little disappointing. Rather bland. Fries were hot and tasty with ketchup. If I'm flying out of Detroit again, I believe I'll go on to Outback Steakhouse. Prices are about the same.
This was my first time ever trying out National Coney Island, and the service is amazing! I went there in the morning on Friday, August 9th, and Brittany was so sweet and helpful. She recommended me to try the Swiss cheese with my burrito and to try out their fries. She was even kind enough to clean off the grill for my sister and I ☺️ she genuinely made our day and we will definitely recommend our friends to come try Coney Island out and would come again!

The place was cute with a 1950's feel, and service was very friendly. Overall, food was served quickly, definitely under 10 minutes.
Greek salad and chicken and bacon salad are huge. Fries were great, and coneys were definitely solid. Good choice for Detroit!
