General PAO chicken was packing the heat but tasty and just the right portion size and flavor. It was ok, but adding automatic 20% gratuity is terrible…gratuity should be based on service. So if servers/staff know that they will be tipped automatically, the service will not be as great.. so be advised
PAO Detroit is a beautiful venue. We had wonderful service. The food was not very good. I had the beef noodle and it was basically shredded wagu which nullified the tase and the dish was overwhelmed with a ton of onions which was all I could really taste. I would saw it ranked in my top five worst meals of the past year dining out. My husband had Kung Pao chicken and he said it was basically like sweet and sour chicken with no spice or flavor.
