In search of some authentic Cantonese dim sum we arrived at Shangri-La a lovely bistro with such welcoming staff. They have a nice bar in center with seating around and upstairs. The bistro was clean as were the restrooms. We were pleased to find they also served cocktails and sushi so we had a Chinese Japanese brunch. We started with chrysanthemum tea and a lotus martini then enjoyed a plethora of dim sum dishes from bbq buns to chive dumplings with some seaweed salad, sushi...

Always love to stop at this place whenever I go to the D.I.A. or find myself around Wayne State. Food is always fresh and delicious. You can go small plates, sushi, dim sum, or dishes like orange chicken or Pad Thai. They also have some great cocktails. Unique variety and solid service.

Good food, portions and service! It was busy, we sat at the bar and it worked out well. Small touches that we liked: cold frosted glasses for our soft drinks, low sodium soya sauce available and small fortune cookies with the bill. We will be back!
