This is going the be the longest review I’ve ever written.. but bear with me. We were so excited to try this place. I originally made a reservation for 6 at 9:30pm. One of our party couldn’t make it and we decided we wanted to go to dinner earlier. I called and the hostess was super nice and switched it all for us to 8:30 for a part of 5, which was perfect. We arrived and it’s nice inside. My complaint is the bathroom is NOT inside the restaurant. It’s a single occupant...
Visiting Detroit for an event. Made a reservation for early Friday evening. I would recommend making a reservation because I’m not even sure the host said “hello” before they said “Reservations?” Seems the restaurant prioritizes reservations. The food was really good and came out in a timely fashion. Our server was attentive, almost a bit too attentive in some ways. They did not add the 20% gratuity to the tab and that’s ok. I don’t particularly care for that practice...

We had sushi, edamame, miso soup, salad, gyoza. Seems fresh, tasted great. Food came out in a timely way.
Our bartender was wonderful. Just the perfect amount of attentiveness. Pleasant to interact with....
