We were there exactly at 5pm, first ones there when they open, and witnessed the host lighting the gas lamp above the entrance, a nice touch. We were seated promptly and food and drinks were great. Nice variety in the menu and overall a fun experience, would recommend 100%.
We hadn't been to Standby in ages. We decided to go back because it was one of the featured restaurants on open table with a promotion on our Chase Sapphire reserve card. It didn't disappoint. We took our kids there for the first time and they were very accommodating, making fun mocktails for them. Every app and main course was shared and enjoyed by us all. We'll def put it back in our usual rotation of restaurants.

The wings and smash burger were absolutely fantastic. I've really dialed in my home recipe for smoked wings - so the bar is pretty high if I order at a restaurant. The same goes for smash burgers. Really impressive.
The service was very good. Our server, Ibrahim (I hope I am spelling that right), was excellent....
