Starbucks in Detroit

“The downtown Detroit Starbucks coffee is one of the best in the city. The workers are very helpful nice genuine and they fix your coffee and your food exactly the way you want it. Their morning smiles was worth the wait of the Uber. It's nothing like a fresh cup of coffee in a fresh smile early morning the desserts were delicious the pastries are delicious and the morning breakfast sandwiches are delicious too. I would like to suggest that anybody in the area to stop by and have them the Starbucks cooked coffee I had the latte chai latte and it was delicious.“

“Excellent staff and typically nice store but, as in the case with many Starbucks, it's confusing to know where the order spot or line is vs the pickup spot or line. There is no obvious sign and there are usually a bunch of people milling about. A simple sign or two can make the entire process smoother.“

“This location is not my go to location, but only because they stay busy. But my daughter wanted to make a customized drink and when I tell you they went above and beyond to ensure she was pleased. She told them what she wanted and they delivered!!! And this was after being denied by other locations that stated they didn’t offer customizations. She even called back to make a change and they had no problem making the adjustment. When I tell you she was just so tickled to receive her drink and it was tasty too!! So, I would have to say well worth the wait. They are pleasant and put the customer first, which is just not something you find often in recent times.“

“I've been here as a tourist for the past few days, and I've enjoyed getting to know the workers here—Faith, Rayshad, and Ladna—all hard workers with smiles on their faces. I've been here with my family, watching such fast-paced workers, and they keep up great service despite the endless rushes lately. Drinks getting made to perfection the thanksgiving parade was such a blast and seeing the workers laugh still while the cafe was full and spirits still bright“

“I love this coffee shop, I typically come in the morning and the ENTIRE staff is a breath of fresh air. Today I went towards early evening around 4pm or so, upon arriving with my baby brother who’s is a super hero 🦸‍♂️ (he’s special needs) I was warmly greeted by Landon (I believe the manager) she was so pleasantly sweet and I loved the tone of her voice greeting us.

WILLIAM is truly the superstar here, the place was empty and I encouraged my superhero of a brother to place his own drink and food order, not only did William acknowledge my baby brother with greetings when my brother who’s semi verbal pointed to the food he wanted William walked over to ensure his was liking the right thing for Jordan (said brother) I was really taken back by his kind gesture and he did it a few times as my brother kept changing his mind (glad the place was empty lol) William acknowledged his correct order and it was pleasantly placed. Not only that I informred William Jordan would like to pay with cash himself and he gladly took my brothers payment & I was so grateful to him and his staff for including my baby brother as a human being who’s learning life’s necessities. KUDOS TO THIS LOCATION inclusivity doesn’t just mean LGBTQ+ but ALL people in every form. I will FOREVER CHOOSE THIS LOCATION!!!!!“

“It would be hard to find a place where one is more warmly greeted or where the staff is willing to go so far out of their way to give it to you like you want it….and yet their personalized service and friendliness doesn’t prevent them from getting through a long line of customers quickly. They are fun people to know.“

“Very clean and spacious. Somehow always has esthetic looking people working there and patronizing it as well. Its interesting phenomena. Its either coffee makes people look and feel good or good looking and well feeling people are attracted to coffee.“

“Pretty good atmosphere, but music selection sucks. Food is always good, and service is decent. Employees are fast and dish out drinks quickly.

Vegetarian options: Few vegetarians sandwich’s and milk substitutes for vegetarians and vegans.“

“Love me some good ol coffee and this Starbucks did not upset. They open super early which is great because we arrived at 6am for our flight and needed a little boost hahah... the line was pretty Ling but for sure kinda expected that. So besides the wait everything was really good. There are also a few more Starbucks spread throughout the airport.“

“Another great starbucks with a very friendly and efficient staff. The variety of options for drinks, food and desserts was wonderful as well the items available for purchase such as mugs and tumblers. The staff was even able to ca our screaming kids haha.“

“For a holiday week with only two ladies holding it down, they did a great job! They are systematic and caring to their drinks and food. The line is a bit long and most people won't realize the time and craft it takes to make most drinks and sticking to guidelines with how hot foods are made. I get it's awhile, and I highly recommend using the app to order and pick up instead of waiting in line. Give it about ten minutes if it's busy and go pick up. Or order when you're at the end of the line for security check and it'll be almost ready by the time you get down there. Hope this helps!
