After being refused a latte 15 minutes before closing at the Starbucks at Gate 11, I went to another Starbucks. This time, even though I arrived 5 minutes after closing, Ladaughn, the barista, was able to serve me despite the late hour. Thank you, Starbucks ☕
Absolutely loved my experience at Starbucks, Detroit Metropolitan Airport! After clearing security and reaching the lounge, I enjoyed a perfectly prepared Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte (iced) — just the cozy, flavorful treat I needed. I loved it so much that I even grabbed an extra Hot Cinnamon Dolce in my personal cup to take with me for the flight.

For a holiday week with only two ladies holding it down, they did a great job! They are systematic and caring to their drinks and food. The line is a bit long and most people won't realize the time and craft it takes to make most drinks and sticking to guidelines with how hot foods are made. I get it's awhile, and I highly recommend using the app to order and pick up instead of waiting in line. Give it about ten minutes if it's busy and go pick up. Or order when...
